Darrel joined Imbiba as a Partner in 2016 and led on raising the firms’ first institutional investment fund. He became Managing Partner in 2022. He has over 20 years’ experience of investing in and supporting UK high growth companies across lifestyle and technology sectors. Prior to Imbiba, Darrel was a Director at Foresight Group, a market leading UK lower mid-market private equity firm with £10bn of assets under management. Darrel led the firm's consumer coverage and was a Non-Executive on the board of multiple high growth businesses. Prior to Foresight, Darrel was part of the start-up team at Joost, the pioneering online TV company established by the Skype founders and back by Sequoia Capital, before moving into corporate finance at Grant Thornton.

Darrel oversees all aspects of Imbiba’s business and is a Non-Executive on the Boards of Farmer J, F1 Arcade and House of Gods London.
