A great big slice of Brooklyn

Imbiba Partnership are delighted to announce the launch of Ruth & Robinson's new seven bar concept, inspired by Brooklyn, New York.

The new concept is led by Paul Garner, Managing Director, who will open the first bar in London's Clerkenwell in November.  The business is a collaborative initiative with its Brooklyn 'sister' business, Colonie. The Colonie bar, in the NY borough of Brooklyn was one of the first ever crowd-funded restaurant/bars.  It has become a successful hospitality business of great notoriety.

The 'great American service culture' will be evident throughout the business, with an outstanding food and drink offering.

'The Colonie concept is a populist proposition and it forms an intrinsic part of our brand: collaboration, supporting a local community and developing local, sustainable and meaningful relationships,' comments Garner. 'Brooklyn's official motto is simple: in unity there is strength and I believe that this is at the heart of our offering, to our customers and to our business partners.'

Finance is being raised by Imbiba through the EIS scheme for the first two to three sites, with further funding to follow.  There has been great interest in this already, reflecting the strong business returns and track record of Imbiba backed businesses.  Interested investors should contact Imbiba directly.
